Workshop - Disaster Planning for Your Library

Last summer’s flooding in Montgomery County sent a strong message to all of us of the need for disaster planning before a disaster occurs. While a disaster plan is recommended for every library, frequently only after a situation occurs does the need become priority. This workshop will cover appropriate library planning as well as provide advice about what to do when a disaster strikes. Maria Holden, Head of Archival Services at the New York State Archives will provide information and advice on developing plans and answer questions.
